Successfully concluding our “Swim to Dream” fans meeting on 20^th January, arena’s brand ambassador who’s also our world champion, Siobhán Haughey met hundreds of children and fans in the Meet-and-Greet to share her experience, reflections, swimming journey and training tips.  Not only meeting her fans face-to-face, Siobhán also brought various medals she won from selected major swimming events to display in the venue including her first international swimming medal – gold medal from Junior World Swimming Championships, silver medal from Tokyo Olympics, medals from Asian Games and World Swimming Championships, etc. All participants were fascinated by Siobhán’s medals, and they sent loads of blessing to her during the autograph.

The Meet-and-Greet was followed by the “Swim with Siobhán” session where 40 youngsters getting a lesson from the Olympian who demonstrated the 4 swimming strokes in the pool.  The young swimmers also got the chance to try a relay game with Siobhán and have her advice on techniques and learnings from training.

The arena x Siobhán Haughey “BELIEVE IT” collection is also being introduced in the sharing session.  It reflects Siobhán’s unwavering conviction: “Dream it, Believe it, Work Hard for it”.  It’s a reminder to dream big, believe in yourself and work hard to achieve your goals.  She hopes this spirit could inspire the surroundings, like she is endeavouring for her swimming journey. The collection will be officially launched in February.

As a professional sports superstore, GigaSports has dedicated our efforts in building a sports community to engage with sports enthusiasts. On October 2, we’re excited to have GigaSports 10K Race come back physically after 5 long years! We were blessed with perfect weather as over 2,000 enthusiastic runners gathered at the Hong Kong Science Park.

Fuelled by the most welcoming route along Tolo Harbour, all runners were eager to challenge their personal bests and give it their all. The atmosphere was electric, and it was truly a memorable morning filled with high spirits and loads of fun.
